## Job Description: Electrical Technician
As an Electrical Technician at PTC, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and safety of electrical infrastructure within refinery environments. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Executing commissioning, start-up, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures for electrical systems and equipment in refinery areas.
* Inspecting the physical condition and operational status of motors, electrical panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgear, transformers, cables, lighting, grounding systems, and other electrical devices.
* Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks strictly based on assigned work orders, maintenance plans, and standard operating instructions.
* Performing rapid, accurate, and safe electrical troubleshooting to minimize operational downtime.
* Identifying equipment abnormalities, conducting thorough inspections, and delivering actionable recommendations to Supervisors or Engineers.
* Interpreting and analyzing Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, complex electrical drawings, and related technical documentation.
* Ensuring all activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Permit to Work protocols, Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA), and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) regulations.
* Documenting work outcomes, equipment statuses, diagnostic findings, and troubleshooting logs accurately.
## Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for this exciting career opportunity, applicants must meet the following mandatory requirements:
* Nationality: Indonesian Citizen (Warga Negara Indonesia).
* Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA or vocational SMK equivalent).
* Experience: At least 3 years of proven professional experience in electrical equipment maintenance.

* Proficiency in coupling and uncoupling electric motor gearboxes.
* Expert knowledge in operating specialized electrical measuring instruments.
* Advanced ability to troubleshoot electrical apparatus swiftly and securely.
* Competence in reading, interpreting, and explaining Single Line Diagrams and electrical schematics.
* Strong foundational knowledge of standard electrical hardware.
* Location: Must currently reside in Balikpapan or surrounding areas.
* Employment Status: Willing to be contracted as an Outsourced Workforce (Tenaga Alih Daya / TAD).
