PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina (PT ICA), a prominent subsidiary within the ANTAM Group, stands as a strategic joint venture between PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) and Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) from Japan. With an ownership structure split between 80% and 20% respectively, the company is spearheading the development of a state-of-the-art Chemical Grade Alumina (CGA) plant located in the Tayan District, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan.
This massive industrial facility is designed to process 1.7 million tons of bauxite ore annually, yielding an impressive output of 300,000 tons of high-quality CGA. To support our operational excellence, two-thirds of our annual production is designated for export to Japan, while the remainder serves the growing domestic Indonesian market. As we continue to expand our footprint, we are inviting highly motivated professionals to join our team in West Kalimantan.
## Available Career Openings for 2024
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill critical roles at our Tayan facility. Below are the details for our active vacancies:
1. Management Trainee (Production)
The Management Trainee program is a comprehensive, structured pathway designed for high-potential graduates to fast-track their professional growth and develop into future corporate leaders.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering.
* Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 3.20.
* Key Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in English.
* Preference: Candidates residing in West Kalimantan and those willing to be stationed at our Tayan production site are highly preferred.
2. Quality Control Supervisor
This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of chemical production and ensuring strict adherence to international protocols.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Electronic, or Chemical Engineering.
* Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 3.00.
* Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Control.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP applications, understanding of laboratory instrumentation maintenance, basic data analysis methods, and foundational knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
* Communication: Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory.
3. Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Engineer
We are looking for a technical expert to oversee our electrical systems, ensuring reliability and safety across our plant operations.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current).
* Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 3.00.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years in electrical design, installation, and maintenance, including test and commissioning.
* Technical Expertise:
* Proficiency with ETAP software.
* Ability to design and troubleshoot 3-phase motor starters (DOL, INV, Start-Delta, Soft-starter).
* Expertise in managing LV/MV power feeders and protection systems.
* Knowledge of OHS (K3) regulations, relay protection coordination, and cost estimation for electrification systems.
* Certifications: Professional electrical certifications are highly preferred.
