Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing critical water and marine intake facilities to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
* Operate equipment and facilities across the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Makeup Water Plant, Electro Chlorination Plant, and Sea Water Intake Area.
* Monitor operational parameters and coordinate daily activities directly with the WTP/WWTP Control Room.
* Ensure all assigned systems function properly, efficiently, and in strict compliance with safety guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this technical position, applicants must meet the following educational and professional criteria:
* Education: Diploma (D3) degree majoring in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Conversion Engineering.
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on working experience within a power plant environment (specifically in operations); however, high-achieving fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
* Technical Knowledge:
* General understanding of water treatment systems and industrial chemistry.
* Basic mechanical comprehension (including bearing systems, hydraulic systems, and rotating equipment).
* Foundational knowledge in Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and electrical systems.
* Basic familiarity with firefighting protocols and first-aid procedures.
* Language Proficiency: Basic English communication skills to interpret technical manuals and coordinate effectively.
