## Key Responsibilities for Plant Operators
As a Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the seamless functionality of our refinery. Your primary duties will include:
* Operational Excellence: Execute LPG refinery operations safely and efficiently to meet established production targets.
* Procedural Management: Conduct start-up and shutdown activities for the refinery, strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during both routine and emergency scenarios.
* Field Monitoring: Supervise operating conditions and mechanical equipment in the field, maintain accurate log sheets, and proactively recommend necessary repairs.
* Equipment Preparation: Properly prepare machinery for maintenance and oversee all relevant operational tasks assigned by supervisors.
* Safety Compliance: Champion our Health, Safety, and Environment (K3L) policies by identifying and reporting potential hazards immediately.
## Professional Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a blend of technical expertise and a strong commitment to organizational values. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Industry Experience: A minimum of one year of experience, ideally serving as a DCS Control Room Operator. Prior experience in an Oil & Gas environment is highly preferred.
* Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong verbal and written English communication skills.
