## Role Overview
As an Accountant at our Nila Breeding Center, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and providing data-driven insights. ## Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of financial functions, including:
* Financial Documentation: Managing transaction recording and preparing comprehensive financial reports.
* Cost Management: Calculating cultivation expenses, including feed, seed, and operational costs, while accurately determining the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
* Asset Monitoring: Tracking inventory and managing biological assets (fish population) to ensure accurate reporting.
* Partnership Accounting: Overseeing records related to partnerships and profit-sharing agreements.
* Analytical Reporting: Analyzing operational cost variances and preparing profit statements per pond or per cycle to facilitate informed management decision-making.
## Required Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who combines technical accounting expertise with a proactive approach to work. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Experience: Minimum of one year of professional experience in Accounting or Costing.
3. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with professional accounting software.
4. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements and COGS calculation methodologies.
5. Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
6. Operational Interest: Willingness to learn and engage with field operations, specifically fish cultivation.
7. Preferred Experience: Candidates with a background in the fisheries or manufacturing industries will be prioritized.
