## Field Operator Job Responsibilities
The Field Operator is tasked with ensuring the seamless functionality of the power plant, acting as the frontline technical support for our control systems. Key responsibilities include:
* Operational Oversight: Monitoring plant performance during both routine operations and emergency scenarios to ensure stability.
* System Coordination: Working in tandem with the Unit Controller to maintain peak performance and daily efficiency.
* Field Supervision: Providing direct on-site monitoring and oversight during normal operations and incident responses.
* Emergency Response: Reporting immediately to the control room during unit trips or upon management instruction to assist in incident resolution.
* Startup Assistance: Supporting the Unit Controller during planned plant start-ups, particularly when technical complexities arise.
* Local Control Management: Operating specific plant equipment via local control interfaces under the direction of the Central Control Room.
* Reporting and Compliance: Submitting accurate daily operational logs and conducting regular site inspections to verify that physical plant conditions match digital system statuses.
## Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency, operational safety awareness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum of a Diploma (D3) degree.
* Industry Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience as an operator in power plants, utility operations, or heavy industrial settings.
* Technical Knowledge:
* Familiarity with electrical systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in high-voltage environments.
* A solid understanding of mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, bearings, and hydraulics.
* Professional Competencies: Demonstrated ability in logical reasoning and effective troubleshooting.
* Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
* Placement Readiness: Candidates must be willing to be permanently stationed in North Sulawesi, as this position operates on a non-roster arrangement.
