## Understanding the Role: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
Stepping into this position means becoming an integral part of a dynamic team responsible for bringing complex power plant systems to life. Your day-to-day responsibilities will demand technical precision, proactive problem-solving, and rigorous safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* System Testing and Analysis: Execute comprehensive performance analyses and rigorous testing protocols, including motor solo runs, fan and pump evaluations, and full load tests.
* Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Swiftly diagnose, analyze, and resolve intricate equipment malfunctions involving heavy-duty pumps, industrial fans, specialized valves, and associated mechanical assets.
* Field Surveys and Reporting: Conduct meticulous site observation surveys, draft comprehensive field reports, and continuously monitor ongoing site-related operational issues.
* Commissioning Management: Oversee, execute, coordinate, and supervise the complete commissioning lifecycle for various critical Power Plant Systems.
* Instrument Utilization: Effectively operate precision diagnostic tools and instruments, such as vibration meters, temperature guns, specialized mechanical toolkits, and testing apparatus.

Essential Criteria
* Educational Background: Hold at least a Diploma (D3/D4) or a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
* Industry Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience within the Power Plant, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), or heavy construction sectors.
* Cultural Adaptability: Prior working experience within a Korean multinational company will be considered a significant distinct advantage.
* Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional fluency in English, encompassing both verbal articulation and technical written communication.
* Software Proficiency: Exhibit advanced capability in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) alongside CAD and other engineering or drawing software relevant to industrial and electrical requirements.
* Work Arrangement: Be fully prepared to be stationed permanently at our Suralaya Site Office in Cilegon, Banten, operating on a fixed-location basis without a rotational schedule under a Contract Employee arrangement.
