## Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
As a Junior Mine Geologist, you will be stationed at the operational site, playing a pivotal role in bridging geological data with daily mining production. Your responsibilities will demand a balanced focus on rigorous safety compliance, technical precision, and cross-functional collaboration.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Excellence
* Maintain personal HSE performance while actively contributing to elevated safety standards across all project areas.
* Participate consistently in monthly safety meetings in strict accordance with company guidelines.
* Enforce adherence to all corporate and departmental safety protocols, specifically focusing on isolation and tag-out procedures, safe work permits, hot work permits, and Job Safety and Environmental Analysis (JSEA).
* Support comprehensive incident and accident investigations to uphold high safety standards.
* Track mandatory safety training completion for team members and proactively identify supplementary training needs.
Geological Operations and Production Support
* Supervise grade control drilling programs, blast hole operations, and monitor QA/QC sampling and assaying quality.
* Execute accurate pit mapping during active ore spotting or the initiation of new drilling campaigns.
* Oversee correct ore-digging procedures in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), actively minimizing dilution through strict supervision and weekly ore inspection reviews.
* Coordinate daily with the mine production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets, while preparing detailed weekly drilling reviews.
* Assist the Database Geologist in managing daily data activities, including drilling, production, and Fleet Management Systems (FMS).
* Execute other operational duties as assigned by management.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

* Educational Background: Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering from an accredited university.
* Professional Experience: Possess a minimum of one (1) year of practical working experience in mining geology, with a strong focus on grade control and open-pit operational environments.
* Language Proficiency: Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
* Technical Competence: Exhibit proficiency in standard office productivity suites alongside hands-on familiarity with 3D geological modeling software (such as Surpac or industry equivalents).
* Safety Awareness: Display a comprehensive understanding of mining safety protocols, including HSE procedures, JSEA, and Work Permit Systems.
* Analytical Skills: Possess sharp analytical capabilities, high attention to detail, and a solid grasp of QA/QC sampling and assaying protocols.
* Soft Skills and Availability: Demonstrate the capacity to work independently or within a team, exhibit strong leadership potential, and show readiness to work in remote, site-based locations under a rotational roster system.
